This is as close to an actual concert of mine as possible. Everything was kept in – the talking, the odd mistake (sorry), and I tried to keep the atmosphere of a live concert on a CD. Tough thing to do. My favourite part is hearing people laugh out loud during the Grieg encore. Lovely. Recorded at a lovely theatre in Brighton this was the first live album I’ve ever done and was huge fun. Possibly the first ever classical album to feature an ‘explicit language’ warning.
